Diabetic Retinopathy
Smartphone usage is a representative of near work. Nearly one-fourth of the young population is addicted to cellphone.
Dry eye is a condition in which a person doesn't have enough quality tears to lubricate and nourish the eye.
Diabetic retinopathy is damage to the retina caused by complications of diabetes mellitus. The condition can lead to blindness if left untreated. Early blindness due to diabetic retinopathy (DR) is usually preventable with routine checks and effective management of the underlying diabetes.
One of the most common causes for irreversible visual loss is glaucoma. Glaucoma is damage to the nerve fiber layer of the retina that is typically caused by an elevation in the intraocular pressure.
Keratoconus is a progressive eye disease that causes a thinning of the clear front surface of the eye (cornea) and distorts the cornea into a cone-like shape.
Retinal diseases vary widely, but most of them cause visual symptoms. Retinal diseases can affect any part of your retina, a thin layer of tissue on the inside back wall of your eye.
We diagnose and manage ocular diseases such as Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy and Cataracts.
If you're ready for an alternative to glasses and/or contacts look to us for co-management of LASIK, cataract, and other ocular surgery.
